Artist's Comments

Photoshop gradient need not apply.

The story behind this one is that I was watching a movie last in my room and slowly noticed that the sky was lit up all nice and colorful. I pondered on stoping the movie for a few scenes and ended up trying it out. Pretty good pic I say since it was a fairly slow shutter speed and I have lost access to even the cheapest tripod.

BTW, I love that time of night where they sky is still lit but everything else is dark as the street lights are just about to turn on and the sun has dipped below the horizon.

Oh dear moses.

I typed a long comment and I closed window by mistake.

What I said :

Beautiful work.
I love the intricate details.
This photo has momentum, very inspiring. I am so sick of photographers taking empty soul-less pictures of the goddam sky thinking we have no idea what originality entails.
This photo has it's own character, by the strong and brilliant use of negative space. The coloures bring in a slight hint of excitement.

The only thing I would add would be typography (say maybe a quote) at the top left or right. But than again I love words on pictures so I guess that's my own personal taste.

The intricacies of it all is captivating. Overall, I really like this. For once someone who took a photo of tree leaves and sky and made it into their own dreamy escapade.

SO ALL YOU SUCKERS OUT THERE WHO TAKE RANDOM PICTURES OF THE SKY TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS ASSHOLES.

Love,

this is lovely. i like how it looks so naturally framed and the colors spilling through looks amazing. id almost say theres a little bit too much at the top but im not sure if cropping it would do good or do dammage lol i dunno. but good work either way!

This is just...an awesome photo. ^__^ At first I wondered about so much black at the top but then decided I liked it that way. Helps even out the composition. ;) The black doubling as a frame of sorts was a great effect: it's really working well. ;) And you caught that perfect time when the sky is just a gorgeous myriad of pale cool colors. This is quite lovely!

i'm always drawn to photos that seem to look through something to see the, possibilities if you will, beyond the window, hole, cut out, what have you. So of the pictures in your gallery this one caught my eye first, and overlooking the rest, I'd have to say it is the best composition, and the most interesting pic you've got.

the composition is strong, and original (you see so many sky pictures, and they're hard to make interesting in addition to pretty), the colors are a little soft, which works although I have a preference for more eye popping colors. All in all, an excellent piece, even taken without a tripod ;-)
